Betsy has been invited to discuss her book on a 25-minute segment with Vicki St Clair. It will air at a later time to be announced and hopefully will be available on podcast.
Betsy had a 10-minute interview, much too short to cover Joe’s questions adequately. He inquired about parents apologizing to teachers for their children’s misbehavior, blaming the misbehavior on parents’ failure to give children their medication in the morning. He asked about antipsychotic medication. So we discussed the increase in bipolar diagnoses and concomitant increase in antipsychotic meds and polypharmacy (taking 3 or 4 medications simultaneously) and lack of studies on long-term effects and lack of approval for children.
